Protea
Protea are said to be among the oldest family of flowers on earth.
A greek legend says that these flowers were named after Proteus, the son of Poiseidon.
A sea god who had the power to know all things, past, present and future.
You can read more about the meaning behind this flower on this blog.
Protea come in many shapes and colours, and to launch ours, we have released two colours.
A striking flower, the protea can be displayed in a number of ways.
Pop them in a vase, or even in a flatlay, just like our friends from
Gallop Hobby Horses & More have done with one of their beautiful capes.
Even a single stem on its’ own, in a tall thin vase, can make a stunning statement piece.
With our artificial flowers, there is no need to water, no wilting,
no pollen, and no bugs. Best of all, there is very little maintenance.
We do reccommend that you read our care instructions, on how to extend the longevity of our felt flowers.
Felt protea stems measure approximately 50cm, and are made with wool blend felt, and paper wire.
As these flowers are constructed by hand, please be aware that
there may be slight differences between each flower.
